Peter Vescey of the NY Post reported earlier today that Bulls GM John Paxon is due to re-sign as GM of the team effective after next Thursdays trade deadline. This news comes as Chicago is involved in many rumors around the league circulating around acquiring such names as Amare Stoudemire, Larry Hughes, Mike Miller, and even Chris Bosh. Assistant GM Gar Foreman is expected to take over in the interim.
As for the head coaching position, it may be noted that Vinny Del Negro may be asked to step down at seasons end, and could be replaced by former Bulls coach Doug Collins. Stay Tuned…

The first Monday morning is not a slow one when it comes to trade rumors in the league. The first big rumor comes from the NY Daily News, where a potential 3 way trade involving the Knicks, Clippers, and Blazers has been thrown around by team execs over the last few days. Coach Mike D’Antoni is in love with the play of Camby, and in favor of putting him as his center, to play alongside Al Harrington and Wilson Chandler in the front court. The Blazers have been interested in David Lee for a while now, and the trade would include the Clippers receiving Quentin Richardson, The Knicks getting Camby and Channing Frye, and the Blazers getting David Lee.
