The New York Knicks have continued to clear cap space in hopes of making a serious run at Cavs star Lebron James next summer, although most feel he will stay in Cleveland. Should that occur, New York will still be in good shape to lure some other big time stars to the Big Apple. NY Newsday reports today on the alternatives that the Knicks may look at should King James shun them. The KNicks will have the ability to wait another season, and make a run at Carmelo Anthony or Kevin Durant in the summer of 2011, or the dynamic point guards Chris Paul or Deron Williams in 2012.
