Power Rankings

After a week off from MMPG, I return, and quite a bit has changed since my last entry. We have seen the Rockets win without Yao Ming in the playoffs over the heavily favored Lakers, we have seen the Cavaliers and Nuggets play as good as you can play during the postseason in dominating their victimsopponents. We have seen last second shots from the likes of Glen “Big Baby” Davis. Only in the NBA Playoffs, where amazing happens. Ok, the league didn’t pay me for that commercial promoting their product, but this truly is my favorite time of year. With eight teams remaining going into tonight, I decided to change things up a bit, and do a power rankings based on my confidence in each team half way through this post season. These rankings may be a bit different from the intital playoff predictions we posted a few weeks back. Enjoy…

With Baron Davis owed $65 million dollars, and their front court flooded with injury prone big men, it’s tough being a Clipper fan these days. [click to continue…]

Injuries are Boston’s worst enemy right now. Second, the difference between the 2 seed in the West(Nuggets) and the 6(Hornets) [...]

Some teams slipping at the wrong time

March 15, 2009

The last time we updated our Power Rankings, The Suns seemed to be making a move towards the top, while the top four were the Lakers, Celtics, Cavs, and Spurs. Well, while some things have stayed relatively the same, others have changed. Phoenix has wilted recently, partly due to injuries, and partly their own play. [...]
