Though the Toronto Raptors have been improving in the win column over the past few weeks, their season will soon be over. Then the talks of Chris Bosh’s future will take center stage. It’s no secret that Bosh, who can outright leave at the end of next season due to being a free agent, wants to expand his exposure. Unfortunately for Raptors fans, he won’t be able to do that in Toronto. The Raptors are reportedly coming to grips with the fact they rather do a sign-and-trade with their All-Star, and get something back for him, rather than see him outright leave. As teams continue to push for the playoffs, others, like the New York Knicks, are fading fast. With former Knick Stephon Marbury now planted sqaurely in a heated race for the top seed overall in the East, his former team is looking towards the future. Chris Duhon may not be the answer for Mike D’Antoni’s system in New York. NY Newsday reports today that three names that may get quite a bit of attention are Andre Miller, Jason Kidd, and Steve Nash. Miller, who is a free agent this summer, is leaning towards returning to Philadelphia, however he will draw attention from quite a few teams, among those the Heat and Knicks. Nash has a $13 million dollar team option for next year, and the way things have been going in Phoenix, I don’t see the Suns honoring that. If Nash hits the market, then D’Antoni would almost certainly covet the two-time MVP that made his system famous. Jason Kidd would be the most intriguing option, as he would come to New York only if he drew no interest from playoff contenders, however Cleveland and Los Angeles reportedly would show interest in bringing Kidd in as a backup.
