News broke earlier today that fans in D.C were hoping they would not get. Star gaurd Gilbert Arenas and young forward Javaris Crittendon have been suspended for the remainder of the 2009-10 season, due to the pending gun charges that both are looking at. NBA commish David Stern rolled out the third and fourth longest suspensions in league history, but they could have been longer. [click to continue…]

Washington Wizards: Playoff Contenders in 09-10?

When I checked www.nba.com last night to see what games would be televised on T.V, I came across the first game of the double-header, Cavaliers Vs. Wizards on TNT.

Immediately I looked back on the excellent playoff series between both these teams in the past and wondered, do the Wizards have a chance tonight?

I called up my friend and told him the Wizards are definitely going to win tonight. He yelled back, no way…the Cavs are the best team in the league.
