The Charlotte Observer says you can add two more teams to the Stephn Curry watch, Charlotte and Portland. While the Knicks have fell in love with the former Davidson star since he added his name to the NBA Draft, it seems that Charlotte management may feel a potential duo of Curry and D.J Augustin would be better than the current one that included Raymond Felton. As for Portland, it has been rumored all off season they would address their point guard spot, however with both Sergio Rodriguez and Jerryd Bayless on the roster, moves could be made including those two.
Nearly a month after his initial interview for the head coach position of the Sacramento Kings, Paul Westphal has the job he wanted all along. The Sacramento Bee reports Westphal and the team came to terms yesterday, which is for two guaranteed years at $1.5 million each year, and a team option for the 3rd season at $2 million. Westphal was able to beat out Lakers assistant Kurt Rambis as well as Celtics assistant Tom Thibodeau. [click to continue…]

With that money the Suns could then re-sign Amare Stoudemire to a long term deal, and build around him for the future.
Surprisingly another Sun that may be on his way out is Steve Nash. Marc Stein of ESPN reports that five teams are at the top of the list of potential suitors for the former MVP, with the Blazers being the one with the best prospects to send back to Phoenix. Stein proposes a possible deal that would have Travis Outlaw and Jerryd Bayless headed to the Suns for Nash, thus helping Portland with a veteran, and bringing in youth to play alongside Amare.
