Since the 2009 NBA Free Agent Signing began two days ago, there have only been two major signings thus far (Ben Gordon, Charlie Villanueva).

With the rest of the offseason in front of us, there will be multiple free agent signings from now until then, in which many can help assemble an organization into top contenders for the ship next season.

For other teams that are already contenders, a free agent signing or two can push their value to the cream of the crop. [click to continue…]

This series has undoubtedly been one to remember. A series that arguably should have been tied 2-2 before Denver’s win on Wednesday came down to a very controversial no call. Usually when a player gets called for the foul, they don’t like it. Not in this case, Antoine Wright was going crazy because he was NOT called for the foul.

He had every right to be. That call could have changed the complexion and composure and outcome of the series. The Nuggets could have been up 3-2 or Mavs 3-2 and Denver would have been travelling back to Dallas for a game six.
