The Houston Rockets seem intent on their plans on fielding all possible offers for veteran wingman Tracy Mcgrady, and some close to the situation feel a trade is likely now that the free agent signing period has begun. New York Newsday reports that the Knicks are offering up Eddy Curry and Cuttino Mobley’s contract for T-Mac. The move would be clearly a cost-cuting one for Houston, who would be able to shed millions off their salary cap.
The free agent signing period has many teams looking to make moves very quickly. The Boston Herald reports that teams interested in Glen Davis other than the Celtics include the Pistons and the Memphis Grizzlies.
