First, the joyous fans and commenters on ThirdQuarterCollapse.com were breaking down the historical odds that are now stacked up against the Cavs. In case you don’t know, only 8 teams in NBA History have come back from down 3-1 to win the series. That is a record of 8-182 since 1947 to be exact. Something that just doesn’t happen often.
On the other end, the loyal Cleveland supporters at RealCavsFans.com were rallying behind their team online, encouaging each other that things can, and will turn around for this team of destiny. One thing I know for certain, if the Cavs come back from down 3-1 and win 3 in a row in a series they really could have been swept in, I would be shocked. Then again, as my partner Justin told me, NOTHING in the NBA should shock me.
