Lebron James NBA MVP
I took my second loss of the postseason in predictions yesterday, with my expectation that the Jazz would be able to put two good games in a row together against the Lakers. That series will be ending shortly. This afternoon, we will see our first team exit the NBA Playoffs, check the previews below.

Celtics vs. Bulls
1PM EST – ABC
Game Preview – BlogABull.com

Before Game 3, I said that the Celtics would come out and play their best game of the postseason. I didn’t expect the blowout that we got, but the play of key role players like Stephon Marbury, Mikki Moore, and Glen Davis embarassed Chicago on both ends of the floor. This afternoon the Bulls try to even up the series again, and force this to be a best 2 out of 3. Derrick Rose, who has been silent since his breakout first game, must be a force today for the Bulls to have a shot. Chicago must also get their big men(Brad Miller, Tyrus Thomas, Joakim Noah) involved early, and win the turnover battle with Boston. The Celtics, meanwhile, know that today is a golden opportunity to win this series. Sure, they wouldnt eliminate the Bulls technically with a win today, but if they are able to go up 3-1, they know the series will end in Boston in Game 5. [click to continue…]

Yao Ming Rockets

After a perfect 3-0 last night, I try to keep my picks rolling with 3 more wins tonight.

Cavs vs. Pistons Game 3
7PM EST – ESPN
Game Preview – NeedForSheed.com

The Cleveland Cavaliers have made things look pretty easy in the first two games of this series against Detroit. The Pistons know that this is their last good chance to make any noise this season, and if they want to avoid being swept, tonight they must play their A game. The good news to Pistons fans, is I expect them do just that. The bad news, is that Cleveland will too. Lebron James has not been slowed down at all by anyone, and if this game is close, you will see plenty of isolation plays for Lebron at the top of the key. Expect this one to be the closest game of the series, with Cleveland pulling it out in the last two minutes.

Cleveland 89
Detroit 84

Expect Lakers, Cavs to cruise, Rockets to lose

Cavaliers vs. Pistons
Game 2 – 8PM EST TNT
Game Preview – WLIX.com
Detroit has certainly seen better days, and after getting beat down at the hands of the Cavs in game 1, there were little signs to show that Detroit will make this a competitive series. The key tonight is to see if the Pistons can jump [...]
