The Boston Celtics run in this years playoffs was helped greatly by the play of Glen Davis. However, Big Baby has not received the love he thought he would get from Boston regarding a new contract. There is still hope that the Celtics will offer him a deal that would allow him to remain there, his agent and camp will also field other teams offers as well. One team that may begin to draw interest in Davis is the Oklahoma City Thunder. Davis would compliment the current young core of players already in OKC, and they would be able to offer him a contract in the price range he is expecting. [click to continue…]

After losing out on free agent big man Marcin Gortat, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban isn’t ready to stop in his pursuit of upgrading his team. In an NBA TV interview earlier today, Cuban stated the team has been in contact with Lakers forward Lamar Odom. Dallas can only offer Odom the mid level exception, which is far less than what Odom’s camp is ready to take at this point. While talks with the Lakers have stalled, there is some thought that Odom may agree to a 1 year contract with Los Angeles, and hope his stock rises even higher next year. [click to continue…]
