Shaq – The Most Dominant Player Ever?

by The Boss on August 3, 2010

in Off The Court

Shaq is always good for a quote here and there, and his comments over the weekend did not disappoint. O’Neal spoke with reporters about his current free agent status, and his legacy on the game. O’Neal talked about how he was able to turn things around for three franchises, but more importantly, he will be looked upon as “the most dominant player ever”.

There are quite a few who may disagree with O’Neal, however you cannot discredit what he has done for the league over the last 2 decades. Looking at his 19th season this fall, there are many teams very much interested in adding his services, including the Heat, Nuggets, Celtics, Spurs, Mavericks, and Hawks. Many of those would have to hope the pricetag dropped considerably though.

While Shaq still can give a contender positive production, the O’Neal from his prime was as good as it gets in the paint.
