Lakers offering up Bynum for Bosh?

The Lakers may not be completely sold on Andrew Bynum after all. Peter Vescey at the NY Post is reporting today that the Lakers big man could be shopped in a deal that would send him to Toronto for All Star forward Chris Bosh. Bosh, who is a free agent at the end of this season, is almost certain not returning to Toronto. The Raptors made some moves during the offseason to entice Bosh to stay, however the results on the court have not changed much. The opportunity to play alongside Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, and Lamar Odom contending for a title for the next 3-5 years in a big city is more attractive. Though the Rockets sent star guard Tracy McGrady home this past weekend, there is more to the story than what both sides are saying. While T-Mac’s representatives will not say he wanted more playing time, McGrady was not happy with being benched. The Rockets have been very political in their answers to media questions regarding the future of McGrady, and secretly would love nothing more than to trade him for viable young talent and/or draft picks.
