Happy New Year to all our readers. tLayupDrill.com takes time today to reflect back on an incredible decade of pro basketball. The decade started and ended with a familiar site: Kobe Bryant lifting the NBA Title in the air in mid-June. Of course, the circumstances around the first 3peat run with Shaq, and his redemption title seems like a lifetime ago. In between all of that, we have seen the rise of the King(Lebron), CP3(Chris Paul), Steve Nash, Melo, D-Wade, and Dirk. We saw the decade begin with The Answer willing an undermanned Sixers team to the Finals, and Iverson humbly returning to Philly after being casted off as a has-been by the rest of the league.
LayupDrill.com takes some time to reflect back on the 10 best players of the decade, with the help of YouTube video to help remind you of some of them. Enjoy.

In a surprising turn of events, the Minnesota Timberwolves have come to terms with former Bucks guard Ramon Sessions on a four year deal, worth over $4 million per season. Sessions, who is a restricted free agent, must wait a week to see if the Bucks will match the offer. However, it is all but certain they will not. Sessions had been linked to many teams as potential homes this summer, including the Knicks, Heat, and Clippers, however Minnesota waited it out and got the man they wanted all along.
The Knicks, whom had flirted to sign Sessions for weeks, also made news today, by coming to terms with forward David Lee on a one year deal. The contract is expect to net the double-double machine between $6 and 8 million a season.
With these two moves today, there are still a few prominent free agent guards left to be signed. Allen Iverson, Nate Robinson, and Raymond Felton are all without homes heading into the Labor Day holiday weekend. Of those three, Robinson is expected to be signed first, by the Knicks in a one year deal. Felton could be replaced by Iverson in Charlotte. If that occurs, Felton could land in Memphis or Dallas.
