Do the Thunder want Big Baby?

The Boston Celtics run in this years playoffs was helped greatly by the play of Glen Davis. However, Big Baby has not received the love he thought he would get from Boston regarding a new contract. There is still hope that the Celtics will offer him a deal that would allow him to remain there, his agent and camp will also field other teams offers as well. One team that may begin to draw interest in Davis is the Oklahoma City Thunder. Davis would compliment the current young core of players already in OKC, and they would be able to offer him a contract in the price range he is expecting. [click to continue…]

Big Baby to replace Millsap in Utah?

The Jazz have just a few days to decide if they want to match the Portland Trailblazers front-loaded contract offer given to free agent forward Paul Millsap. If Utah matched the deal, it would cost them close to $20 million dollars in 2009-10. For far less money, the Jazz may seek an alternative. The Deseret News reports Glen Davis and his agent are very interested in the Jazz, and would likely go there if offered a contract in the $5-6 million per season range. Utah has not shown their hand as of yet, on whether they intend on matching the Millsap deal. [click to continue…]
