The Lakers took a big step in assuring a fourth consecutive visit to the NBA Finals with two signings late this week. First, Los Angeles signed veteran big man Theo Ratliff, and last night, former Suns and Magic swingman Matt Barnes agreed to terms with the champs. Barnes will assist Kobe Bryant and Ron Artest in matchups down the road with the likes of the Celtics and Heat.
