Mike Brown Out In Cleveland

by The Boss on May 24, 2010

Whether or not the Cavaliers are able to resign LeBron James, Mike Brown won’t be back on the sidelines of the Cavs. A report late from SI.com confirmed shortly before midnight the Cavaliers let their former coach know his services won’t be needed going forward. While many weren’t surprised by this announcement following the Cavs dismissal from the playoffs at the hands of Boston, things will certainly get interesting with the coaching search.

Cleveland joins fellow playoff teams Chicago and Atlanta, along with New Orleans, New Jersey, and the Clippers of teams in search of a new coach for next year. Ironically, half of those teams have been rumored in the LeBron Sweepstakes, and the talks of a LeBron-Calipari combo deal could have some legs to it as the weeks go on towards July 1st.
