Can Vince Redeem Himself Against Boston?

Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals could be seen as the biggest game of Vince Carter’s career. For those that have forgot, it was just a few days ago, with the Magic down 3 late in the 4th quarter at home, Vince had a chance to cut Boston’s lead down to 1. Well, that didn’t exactly happen.

So tonight, in front of a Boston crowd that smells blood in the water, the veteran home team will look to put Orlando down for the count, and make it to the NBA Finals for the second time in three years. When the Magic made the move to bring Vince in last year, it was for these moments. Much like the way Rasheed Wallace has earned his paycheck for the whole season in the past two weeks, another UNC Tarheel will need to start earning his tonight for the Magic to not regret bring back Hedo Turkoglu.

Our prediction – Boston doesn’t want to go back to Orlando, and knows that if they win tonight, they can mentally break this team. It will be close, but Celtics prevail.

Boston 89
Orlando 85
