With just days left in the regular season, The Toronto Raptors were dealt some terrible news Wednesday. Star forward Chris Bosh will miss the regular season after having surgery to repair facial fractures due to an elbow he caught from Cavs forward Antawn Jamison.

Bosh was leading the team in points (24) and rebounds (10.8) a game before the injury. Toronto was also trying to fight off the Chicago Bulls for the 8th and final playoff spot in the East. Following the Raptors 115-104 loss to the Celtics, they are now only 1/2 game ahead of Chicago, and with Bosh out, the odds are stacked that they will be able to stave off Derrick Rose and company.

Bosh, who will be a free agent at the end of the year, has consistently held off all talks regarding his intentions this summer, but missing the playoffs would not bode well for Toronto.
