Kentucky Wildcats dominate this years lottery

by The Boss on April 6, 2010

Our first 2010 NBA Mock Draft will focus strictly on the cream of this years crop. LayupDrill.com takes a look at the top 10 picks in this years draft, and who would own them by record today.

10. Clippers – Cole Aldrich, C, Kansas
Clippers and Chris Kaman could now officially part ways with the addition of Aldrich.

9. Pacers – Al-Farooq Aminu, SF Wake Forest
Pacers draft the best available player at this spot, and if Aminu is there, take him.

8. Jazz – Greg Monroe, PF, Georgetown
Monroe could give the Jazz an attractive trade partner for teams looking at Carlos Boozer(sign-and-trade).

7. 76ers – Donatas Motiejunas, PF, Lithuania
The best player no one knows about could make the 76ers a legit contender.

6. Kings – Patrick Patterson, PF, Kentucky
Patterson is ready to start in the NBA right now, and the Kings would love to land him here.
Check the top 5 after the jump.

5. Pistons – DeMarcus Cousins, PF, Kentucky
Still needs to work on his game, however his raw talent and potential makes Cousins a top five pick.

4. Wizards – Wesley Johnson, SF, Syracuse
Wesley Johnson and Josh Howard play the same position. Hmm….

3. Warriors – Derrick Favors, PF, Georgia Tech
As long as Golden State doesn’t draft a guard I think fans will be ok.

2. Wolves – Evan Turner, SF, Ohio State
Minnesota won’t make the mistake of taking two point guards this year….

1. Nets – John Wall, PG, Kentucky
Is John Wall the savior for the soon-to-be Brooklyn Nets? What would they do with Devin Harris?
