The Orlando Magic have had a wonderful offseason, with the key additions to various big name players to their team, however today’s news has cast a dark cloud over the franchise. Reports out of Orlando state forward Rashard Lewis will be suspended 10 games by the NBA for violating terms of the NBAPA Anti-Drug Program. Lewis tested positive for a PED(Performance Enhancing Drug), which made the star wingman have elevated testosterone levels. Lewis is said to by fully complying to the league’s ruling. The Magic, who before this ruling, had looked to add more depth to their bench, may have further incentive now to sign veteran Bruce Bowen. Bowen is expected to decide on his future employer in the days to come.
In other news, the Celtics signing of Shelden Williams may be more of an insurance policy in case they are not able to secure Glen Davis. Davis, who is a free agent, was not happy at the initial offer presented by Boston this summer, yet talks have begun to slow on both sides. With few teams left in the market for a undersized big man, Davis may find his options limited on the market.

What is the name of the supplement that contained the banned substance? Shouldn’t that be put out there so no one else makes the same mistake?
