This is actually last week’s Flashback Friday post. Glen Rice was one of the best scorers in the league in his prime, and was the face of the Heat. His 56 point performance nearly 15 seasons ago against the Orlando Magic was one to behold.

WOW! I was at this game. It was on NBC, and it just happened to be the first NBA game I ever attended. I was 14 at the time and being that I was (and still am) a die-hard Knicks fan, I was rooting for Miami to destroy Orlando so that we could gain some ground in the standings. Glen had the crowd electrified. I hate the Heat with all of my mind, body, and soul, but at the time we didnt really have a rivalry going with them, so it was okay to cheer for a Heat player then. It was so awesome seeing Glen Rice, Shaq, and Penny all in their primes on the same court! Never forget that day.
