The 2009-10 NBA schedule has not been officially released yet, but there are a few games that have been leaked, involving some of the biggest draws in the sport. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Lebron James and the Cavaliers will tip off their season at home, against the hated Boston Celtics. Christmas Night will feature a NBA triple header, with the World Champion Lakers hosting the Cavaliers in the primetime game. Shaq vs. Kobe, returning to the Staples Center playing alongside Lebron. That ticket will be a tough one to get.

In other news, the New York Knicks are still interested in obtaining the services of guard Ramon Sessions, most recently of the Bucks. New York is also talking to former Pacer Jamaal Tinsley. Tinsley, a native of the city, told the NY Daily News he would love to play back home, and would give the team “the hometown discount”.

The Miami Heat are still trying to put together a masterplan that would bring both Lamar Odom and Carlos Boozer to their teams, however are being very careful that they don’t give up too much to obtain one, which would cripple their hopes to land the other. All signs point that Miami would be the favorite to obtain Boozer, via a trade, likely with a third team involved. Odom would have to arrive via a sign-and-trade, and two names being floated around that deal include Udonis Haslem and Mario Chalmers.
