Sometimes rumors do wind up coming true after all. The Minnesota Timberwolves have come to terms with the Wizards regarding a multi-player deal. The Wolves receive the number 5 pick in the NBA Draft, along with Etan Thomas, Darius Songalia, Oleksiy Pecherov for Mike Miller and Randy Foye. The move gives the Wolves the 5th, 6th, 18th and 28th picks in the first round, and likely aren’t done dealing. Most feel this signals the start of the draft dominoes that could fall between now and Thursday night.
Miller and Foye give the Wizards depth in the backcourt, and added experience in the hopes to push towards a playoff run. Washington wasn’t sold on Tyreke Evans or Jordan Hill, and after the Amare Stoudemire deal was shot down, this was the next best offer.

UPDATE:
The Bucks have just traded Fabricio Oberto to the Pistons for Amir Johnson. Oberto is expected to be bought out of his contract, freeing up more cap space for Detroit.
