For some casual basketball fans, their first glimpse of Ricky Rubio happened last night at the 2009 NBA Draft.
RotoWire.com reports that Ricky Rubio will likely not be in Minnesota next season, due to his massive buyout by the Spanish league team. The Timberwolves are allowed to pay $500,000 towards the over $6 Million Dollar buyout. I guess drafting Jonny Flynn wasn’t too bad of an idea after all. For some strange reason, next summer I see Rubio getting dealt to the Knicks. Just a really early prediction….
