Some of the readers of LayupDrill.com weren’t born when Michael Jordan crushed the hearts of Cleveland fans with a last second jumper to end the Cavs season in 1989. Long before the three peats and the retirements, Michael Jordan was a young dominant scorer trying to help his team find their way to rise to become an elite team in the NBA. In their way was a very good Cavaliers team who had everything going for them. The spring of 1989 were my earliest memories of watching the NBA Playoffs live, and Michael Jordan became my favorite player after this series.
