Forget about Nate Robinson, Houston center Yao Ming should wear a green jersey every time he suits up against Orlando’s Dwight Howard. In 9 career games against Howard, Yao is 7-2, and has held Howard under his career averages. Howard is managing only 12.2 points and 9.8 rebounds against Yao, while the Rockets big man is 23 and 10 against Howard. While there is no doubt that Howard is one of the best young stars the league has, in a league that is already thin in big men, he has yet to dominate against his elder statemen. The names Yao, Shaq, and Howard currently surface as the best bigs, yet for as much as we knock Yao, he does his best work against the best comp. Right now, we can’t say the same for the former slam dunk champ.
