My predictions were once again perfect last night (3-0), and for the week I only have one loss(11-1), and one of those wins was a game that was the easiest to pick last night. The Utah Jazz came into game 3 back home, where they were 33-8, and clearly played much better when they laced them up in Salt Lake City. Carlos Boozer played like the All-NBA player he had been prior to his injury, dropping 23 points and pulling down 22 rebounds in a 88-86 victory over the Lakers. Deron Williams did his thing as normal, and Paul Millsap gave the Jazz quality minutes and kept alive many key possessions with 14 rebounds.
Kobe Bryant had an off night(18 points on 5-24 shooting), and you figure Bryant has one bad game a series. You just have to hope that was the one for this series, and he comes out like a mad man in game 4. Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom did their part, giving the Jazz all they could handle, yet where was Jordan Farmar in this game? Williams has been lighting up anybody who the Lakers put on him, but Derek Fisher (7 points, 3 assists in 38 minutes) isnt the answer, and perhaps giving Farmar a 5 to 10 minute stretch to get himself going could help him not just in this series, but later in the playoffs. We will see as this postseason continues how that plays out.
