Do they have anything left?

Vince Carter - Nets
This summer, there will be plenty of talent available, either due to free agency, or being shopped by their current employers. With the state of the economy, many stars may have a reality check in regards to how much, or how long, their offers will be.

Shaq – The Suns center is one of the games most dominant big men, and definitely one of the most entertaining personalities in the history of the league. Yet, Shaq’s tenure in Phoenix has not fostered the type of success that GM Steve Kerr had envisioned when he made the deal in 2008. There were rumors back around the All-Star break that Shaq was going to be sent to Cleveland, but a deal could not get done in time. Now, with the Suns season ending tonight, could Shaq be headed elsewhere?

Shaq’s 17 points and 8 boards average this year surprised some this year, and could be an attractive gamble for some teams lacking a force in the paint. He has already it known that he would be interested in going to Dallas, but is the interest mutual?

Vince Carter – VC was once half-man, half-amazing, now he’s just man most of the time, amazing every once in a while. The Nets clearly need to move Carter to complete the transformation of their team, and truly put the reigns of their future in the hands of Devin Harris and Brooke Lopez. Carter, like Shaq, was rumored to be moved duriing the All-Star break, and still may draw some interest near the draft. Teams looking to get over the top, and in need of a veteran scorer may give Vince a call this summer.

Steve Nash
– If Suns GM Steve Kerr goes in a different direction this summer with the team, then both Shaq and Steve Nash will be gone. Nash will be able to find suitors though, whether it is to be a tutor to a young point guard in Mike D’Antoni’s team in New York, or going back home, and playing for the Raptors.

Allen Iverson - Iverson, more than any other superstar, will have more to prove next season. After his season to forget in Detroit, Iverson once again finds himself searching for a home, and each time, there are less and less teams interested.

Tracy Mcgrady – The Rockets have moved on without T-Mac pretty easily this season. Entering the final year of his contract, Mcgrady could essentially be trade bait, whether before the start of next season, or during the All-Star break. Would anyone gamble on trading for a star who has had so many injuries?
