Jim Calhoun - UConn
With a game against Purdue in the Sweet 16 just a few days away, the UConn Huskies mens basketball program is making news for the wrong reasons today. Yahoo! Sports and Rivals broke the news earlier today that UConn violated NCAA rules when recruiting former Huskie player Nate Miles.

Miles, who has since left the team and school, was given housing, food, transportation to get around, and was represented by sports agent Josh Nochimson between 2006 and 2008. If you aren’t familiar with Nochimson, he was decertified by the NBA Players Association last year after former UConn star and current Piston Richard Hamilton accused him of stealing nearly $1 million dollars from him.

The violations of contact, and involvement with an agent could cost UConn greatly, according to the report. The school has not made an official comment as of yet to the story.
