Al Jefferson - Timberwolves
Minnesota forward Al Jefferson had knee surgery three weeks ago. For Jefferson, his spirits are up and his weight is down. He has, however, had some issues with his T.V.

“I’m replacing a TV in my house right now, as we speak, because I threw things at the TV because I’d be so upset. Sometimes it’s a bad call with the ref or anything. So I’ve got to control my emotion on that point.”

Jefferson had been averaging 23.1 points and 11 rebounds a game in this, his breakout season. Since his injury, the Timberwolves are 1-11 and are currently riding a ten game losing streak. At 18-45, the T-Wolves’ season is long since over. They began looking toward next year the second Jefferson went down.

Jefferson is positive he will be ready for next season. “There’s no doubt in my mind I’ll be ready when the season starts,” he said. hen he returns, Jefferson will join a young nucleus including Randy Foye and Kevin Love. There is always next year and for the Timberwolves that future may be very bright. For now, they’re just playing out the string.
