With Carmelo Anthony now on the sidelines for at least a month, the Denver Nuggets must make a deal to continue improving their season. They are currently on a league-leading 5-game winning streak with a record of 25-12. (Second best record in the Western Conference.)

Newly acquired center Johan Petro is a young talented player that could produce quite nicely behind Nene, if given heavy minutes.

Rocky Mountain News says that head-coach George Karl has specifically stated that the team needs another big body on the roster.

With a very competitive Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets are seeking a big-named player that could step up for them and battle for a high-seed in the playoffs.

Who could possibly be headed to Denver?

I guess we will just have to wait and see. Check out LayupDrill.com for daily updates on the rumors that you haven’t heard about!
