The NBA’s Perfect Pick-Ups is a list of players that are still in free-agency in a majority of fantasy leagues that can help improve your fantasy team tremendously and should be picked up IMMEDIATELY!!!

If you add these players to your fantasy team, you’ve got yourself a great chance at making the playoffs and possibly winning your league. (Owned percentages are through Yahoo! Fantasy NBA)

Jerryd Bayless (PG, POR)- Before the NBA season began, I put Jerryd Bayless as one of the players to break-out and become a fantasy stud. He has now scored in double figures in his last two games and is getting the minutes he needs to prove what he is capable of putting up.

Suggestion: With Steve Blake out for more than a week, Bayless should be picked up in all fantasy leagues. He could turn into a huge fantasy player with consistent playing minutes night in and night out. If Jerryd is still available in your league, it is highly suggested to pick him up and place him in your starting line-up.

Mardy Collins (PG, LAC)- With Baron Davis on the sidelines, Mardy Collins has managed to put up 14.6 PPG, 7.0 APG, 3.8 RPG, and 2.4 SPG in 38.2 MPG during his last five games. Collins is only a sophomore and is now getting a chance to prove what he can do.

Suggestion: If you are in need of a guard, Collins should be picked up immediately. With Baron out for a few more games Collins will continue to produce a solid line of stats and contribute greatly to your fantasy team

Von Wafer (SG, HOU)- Wafer has now scored in double-figures during his last eight games and is showing signs of fantasy life with Tracy McGrady on the bench. Wafer is averaging 16.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 2.0 APG, 1.2 SPG in 34.6 minutes of action during his last five games.

Suggestion: As long as T-Mac stays injured, Wafer is a great fantasy player that can give your team a solid amount of points and three-pointers made. He should be picked up before he is added by somebody else.

Nick Young (SG, WAS)- Young is averaging 30.8 MPG during his last five games and is putting up career numbers while doing so. He has scored 28,30, and 33 over his last five and is on a scoring surge as of late.

Suggestion: Being only a sophomore, Young has a great amount of upside to turn into a fantasy stud. He has certainly shown what he can do during his last few games and should be picked up while he stays this hot. Young could turn into a great fantasy player before the season ends because of how much potential he has.

Kirk Hinrich (PG, CHI)- Hinrich has never averaged under 11 PPG, 6 APG, and 3 RPG during his six year career. He is now averaging solid minutes for the Bulls and will turn into a very consistent fantasy player once again.

Suggestion: Since returning from injury, Kirk has started to play ball like his old self. He has potential to put up All-Star numbers and is a MUST pick-up if available in your fantasy league.
