A must win for Lebron tonight

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been very impressive thus far in the regular season, racing out to a 28 – 6 record, which is tied for the best in the NBA to date. Their perfect 18 – 0 record at home is unrivaled. But for their potential match up later this spring with the Boston Celtics to truly be a rivalry, Cleveland has to make Boston into believers. As bad as the Celtics have looked recently, Boston is still the defending NBA champions, and 21 – 3 against the Eastern Conference, compared to Cleveland at 19 – 5. With the Celtics reeling, and the injury bug knocking some of their key reserves down or out, all signs point to a Cleveland win. But I think it will be a different story.

As much as Lebron James needs this win tonight, Boston knows this is a must win for them as well. Sure, they have lost 3 in a row, but in their biggest game since the Christmas Day game on the road in Los Angeles, they have another chance to show the country they are the best team in the NBA. This also brings up another question. Has the Celtics/Cavs budding rivalry become the best rivalry in the NBA today?
