Tony Parker goes crazy in Minnesota

The San Antonio Spurs (1-3) were detemined not to start out 0-4. At least Tony Parker was. Parker was in the zone last night, going 22-36 from the field, scoring a career high 55 points, adding 10 assists and making 90% of his free throws, on route to a thrilling 129-125 double overtime victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves(1-3).

The Spurs new 3rd option, Roger Mason, impressed me, as he added in 26 points last night, and of course Timmy was Timmy, dropping 30 and grabbing 16 rebounds. The Wolves, who have one of my personal favorite underrated players in the league, Al Jefferson, showed alot of heart and should have won the game last night. Jefferson lead Minnesota with 30 points and 14 boards, and at times outplayed Duncan. Former University of Florida standout Corey Brewer seems poised to have a breakout season, stay tuned.
