The Earl Watson Trade Watch begins
Earl Watson Oklahoma City Thunder
While Antonio McDyess has been getting all the headlines early this season, there will be much more movement of key role players as the year goes on. One of them could be Earl Watson, who has expressed his displeasure of playing behind rookie Russell Westbrook. Two teams that have expressed the most interest in the former UCLA guard is New Orleans, and Portland. Stay tuned…

In the daily Antonio McDyess news, he is set to clear waivers on Wednesday, and will be the benefactor of a $6 million dollar buyout. The NY Daily News reports the Spurs, Celtics, Cavs and Pistons are the leaders to obtain the services for McDyess still. The Spurs are also interested in adding some scoring power to the rotation, to add to the Duncan/Parker/Manu trio. Some believe they may be interested in being trade partners with the Knicks for the services of Stephon Marbury.

The proposed three way deal involving Charlotte, Golden State and New York looks dead for now. The Bobcats were going to send Gerald Wallace to Golden State, New York would have received Al Harrington, and Eddy Curry would have wound up in Charlotte.

Finally, it looks as if former Cavs guard Damon Jones, who is on the roster for the Bucks, but never reported to Milwuakee after being traded in August, may draw some interest from The Bulls, after Kirk Heinrich went down. San Antonio is also a possiblity for Jones.
