We told you a few weeks ago that Jamaal Tinsley and Stephon Marbury were both going to get long looks by the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat. That was before Magic guard Jameer Nelson aggrivated his groin, and the Heat point guard troubles became worse. The Magic should get Nelson back in a week and a half, but head coach Stan Van Gundy is looking to sure up the floor general position sooner than later.
As for the Heat, The Miami Hearld is reporting that Heat management are at odds regarding bringing in Starbury. Some feel he would be a good fit to compliment Dwayne Wade and company, while some feel he could ruin the chemistry of a decilate young team. The x factor will be the play of rookie Mario Chalmers.
The Wizards next head coach has brought up the usual suspects of unemployed big names, such as Avery Johnson and Jeff Van Gundy. One name that may fit the current locker room culture may be Flip Saunders, according to the Washington Post. Saunders has been a winner everywhere, and may be able to deal with Agent Zero

Im the biggest magic fan you will ever meet and im goin to be honest jamal tinsley would be a great pick up for us. Jameer is playing far better than i ever imagined but the hip injury is killing him and should sideline him for a couple more games. AJ been outstanding but hes 34 and no back up we got turk and lee runnin the point and its too risky…..Come on Otis bring in JT
Tinsley would help out the Magic, but just in case they don’t deal for him, the Magic might want to look at talking to Memphis, who seem to be moving some point guards right now.
The crittenton deal has been lurking since the summer but not only do the grizzlies want jj or bogans they want a 1st rounder. Its not worth it to me because with all the money wrapped on Shard Dwight Jameer Pietrus and hopefully re signing turk all were gonna have for a couple years are draft picks. Were a thin team but i love it 7 man rotation baby best in the league
