New Jersey Nets

The New Jersey Nets came up with one of best marketing strategies to fill the seats, and give back to their community in NBA history. The Nets announced Tuesday that will be giving away free tickets to unemployed fans who submit resumes to the Nets Job Bank.
The team will give each fan up to four free tickets, plus access to a career fair later in the month, which will feature many of the teams sponsors. Nets ticket prices start at $10 dollars for nosebleed seats and go upwards of $95 and up for lower level seats. The team is alloting 300 tickets for 5 selected home games, and many anticipate this will catch on throughout the league. At a time in the economy where many NBA fans are experiencing the most turbulant economic times of their lives, it is refreshing to see at least one team trying to do something good for their community.
